VDL: Festival Love Mark Tinted Balm

I am so excited to announce that I have found a new kbrand while wandering the streets of Seoul! I was with my mom around Gangnam Station when I discovered VDL - a new brand that only launched last year by LG. It's not a big as the Amore Pacific brands (eg. Etude House) so I was inclined to test the waters. Let's have a look, shall we? :)

VDL has a myriad of sleek cosmetics that give off a very "vogue" or "M.A.C" feel. It's design oriented and unlike your typical cutesy vibe you get from most kbrands, this is seriously something different.

The packaging just screams awesomeness. It's minimalistic, and the cap is magnetic so everytime you close the lipstick balm, you hear a satisfying click. It's high quality, matte (a little bit shiny), and durable.

Product Rating: 

VDL is more high end than Tony Moly or Etude House, so I was little skeptical on purchasing this. It was about HKD 100. But the good thing about this product is that it is a versatile product, which is always handy :) just a reminder, this is not exactly a lipstick. It's a lipstick base with infused with moisturizing essences and it can be used as a tinted lip balm. It was a little pricey, but it was totally worth it. It has the perfect texture to be used as a lipstick base (not just like any ordinary drugstore lipbalm) so I highly recommend it for those who want moisturized lips when wearing lipstick.
